National Meet for Research Scholars in
Mathematical Sciences - 09
(19-23 December, 2009)
Department of Mathematics, Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee

 

The participating research scholars may be from any area of Mathematical Sciences which includes Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research and Theoretical Computer Science.
There will be lectures on Computational Mathematics and Research Methodologies by eminent speakers
Major activity will be Paper presentation (Oral / Poster) by the participants.
Best papers (Oral/Poster) will be awarded on the basis of originality, content and style etc.

Participants will be required to make presentations
(15 minutes duration). Some scholars, who have just started research work, may also be considered. After screening, participants will be shortlisted. Shortlisted participants will be informed and only they need to send the registration fee. All the selected participants will be provided travel support (up to AC-III), Boarding and Lodging.
Registration fee is Rs 500.
